The operation and servicing of a steam boiler are governed and mandated by Australian Standards and State Government regulation.
It is illegal to operate steam generating plant – electric or gas or other fuel – without mandated regular servicing (usually quarterly) being carried out, annual servicing and inspection and certification by a designated pressure vessel inspector. (Biennial for electrically heated boilers).
Your business – if it relies on steam – could be shut down with minimal or no notice if found to be non-compliant.
